Weather data and location
Sprinkle Weather! uses Apple Weather/WeatherKit data where available. If forecasts do not appear, confirm that location permission is enabled for Sprinkle Weather! and that your device has a network connection. WeatherKit availability can vary by region, simulator, Apple service status, and device configuration. The app may reuse a recent on-device weather snapshot instead of immediately requesting the same forecast again.
Sprinkle Forecast
Sprinkle Forecast uses local templates, selection rules, and WeatherKit values to create rotating captions and a longer Full Brief. It does not require Apple Intelligence or a remote artificial intelligence service. If narration is enabled, Apple system speech services speak the displayed briefing text.
Rain, radar, and air quality
Rain Forecast, NOAA/NWS radar, and AirNow air-quality data depend on public data availability and are limited to supported United States locations. A feature can be unavailable temporarily or in a location even when the rest of the forecast is working.
Sprinkle Pro subscription
Sprinkle Pro may unlock animated backgrounds and icons, the full virtual-meteorologist briefing, enhanced forecast details, and supported rain and radar features. Introductory and returning-subscriber offers appear only when Apple reports the App Store account as eligible. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Refunds and billing questions are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
